Thank you for stopping by My Journey to Become a Polyglot.
When I was 15 years old I figured out how much I love languages. I have spent years learning a little here and there about many different languages without ever finding fluency in any. It hasn’t stopped me from continuing to learn as much as I can though.
Regardless of whether I have reached fluency or not, I have met some amazing people along the way who have the same dream of speaking in another language. To me that is what language learning is about: the people. Simply by wanting to study other languages has opened the doors to meet people from all over the world. I have learned about countries and cultures that I have never had such access to.
I am still at the beginning of my journey. I know there is more out there to learn than I can even imagine, but I am going to learn as much as I can.
I hope that you enjoy your journey as much as I am and that you will find the information I provide useful.
Make sure to check out the useful sites page to see my regularly updated list of websites I use to learn languages.

I have been reviewing pronunciation, I listen to podcasts to get more familiar with the flow of the language which I think is very important, and tonight I had someone I had met on Skype a while back message me and say “let’s practice your Portuguese” and we talked for an hour and a half.…
